Volunteer at WSGC’s drone competition
The Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium is seeking eight volunteers to assist with the first Aerial Drone Competition on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025. The event is taking place on campus in the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center (TARC).
The event brings talented middle school and high school teams to Carthage to showcase their skills in piloting drones! Volunteers will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth, engaging, and successful experience for participants and spectators. No STEM experience is necessary.
Time Commitment:
- Setup Day (optional): Friday, Jan. 31, 6 p.m.
- Event Day: Saturday, Feb.1, starting at 6:45 a.m.
Volunteer Roles Available:
- Referees (Scorekeepers): Oversee match scoring and ensure rule compliance. View the training guide here.

- Field Resetters: Quickly prepare the competition field between matches. View the training guide here.
